eAnthology Removal Instructions
Before you can delete it, the DLL file must be deregistered.
Open a DOS command prompt window (from Start->Programs->Accessories). Enter the following commands in the DOS window: cd "%WinDir%\System" regsvr32 /u "\programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthmngr.dll, "%WinDir%\System" regsvr32 /u programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthtutor.dll, "%WinDir%\System" regsvr32 /u programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthtutor\eantheanthgen.dll, "%WinDir%\System" regsvr32 /u programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthtutor\eantheanthintro.dll, "%WinDir%\System" regsvr32 /u programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthtutor\eanthkonx.dll, "%WinDir%\System" regsvr32 /u programfilesdir+\commonfiles\ eacceleration\eanthtutor\eanthstopsscan.dll and "%WinDir%\System" regsvr32 /u programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\syscheck.dlldefender.dll
(If your 'Program Files' directory has a different name (for example, on a non-English version of Windows), or is on a different drive, you'll have to substitute that in the path above.)
Now, remove these files with Windows Explorer: programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthmngr.dll, programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthtutor.dll, programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthtutor\eantheanthgen.dll, programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthtutor\eantheanthintro.dll, programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthtutor\eanthkonx.dll, programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthtutor\eanthstopsscan.dll, programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanthtutor\eanthtutor.exe, programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\eanth_update.exe and programfilesdir+\common files\eacceleration\syscheck.dllarcade.htm
After the deregistration, end the 'eanthology.exe' process from the Task Manager (ctrl-alt-delete). Having successfully done this you should be able to delete the entire 'eAnthology' folder. To clean up the registry, run regedit and delete the value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run that refers to eAnthology. You can also delete the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion
un\eanthologyapp; in the Adp variant this is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\adp instead.
